Opened in 2002 by Cheryl Calvin, The Store in Lake Highlands is the epitome of local shopping in the Lake Highlands neighborhood in Dallas, Texas. As a clothing boutique and gift shop, The Store aims to provide chic yet casual clothing and glad-to-receive gifts. Our dedicated staff helps our customers have an enjoyable and personal shopping experience.

We make every effort to carry local brands whether made in the Dallas area (Jack Black Skincare for Men), made in Texas (Simplified lotions), made in the southern US (Ella B Candles) or made in America (Joy Susan bags). The Store features clothing brands such as Foxcroft, J Marie, and Tribal. Our accessory lines include Hobo, Brianna Cannon, Accessory Jane and for a bit of bling — Uno de 50 jewelry.

Lake Highlands is a unique community devoted to creating a vibrant “town life” in a “big city.” As a local business, The Store believes in giving back to the LH community by hosting “Storytime with Miss Teena” a weekly children’s story time — no shopping required — and by supporting local non-profits.
