Established in 2002 by Cheryl Calvin, The Store in Lake Highlands is a beloved local shopping destination in the Dallas, Texas neighborhood of Lake Highlands. This clothing boutique and gift shop is committed to offering stylish yet relaxed apparel and delightful gifts. Our attentive staff is dedicated to ensuring that customers have a pleasant and personalized shopping experience.

We prioritize stocking items from local brands, whether they are based in Dallas (such as Jack Black Skincare for Men), Texas (like Simplified lotions), the southern US (including Ella B Candles), or anywhere in America (such as Joy Susan bags). The Store proudly carries clothing brands like Foxcroft, J Marie, and Tribal, as well as accessory lines such as Hobo, Sunshine Tienda, and Accessory Jane.

Lake Highlands is a distinct community that values fostering a lively “town life” atmosphere in a large city. As a local business, The Store is committed to giving back to the Lake Highlands community by hosting “Storytime with Miss Teena,” a weekly children’s story time event (no purchase necessary), and by supporting local non-profit organizations.
